The company might be new but the person behind it is an old friend to the readers of Action-Figure, as the company announces their Quarter Scale Akuma Statue...
Pop Culture Shock Collectibles is proud to announce the acquisition of a license to release limited edition 1/4 scale statues based on Capcom®’s legendary property, “Street Fighter®”.
The first piece , scheduled for release summer 2007 is Akuma. The Akuma statue is 18.5” tall ( 20” tall with base), will be limited to 600 pcs worldwide and has an MSRP of $250.00. Each piece is hand numbered and also includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
It will be available for pre-order in the USA through Diamond Distribution Previews ( Order Code MAR074494) as well as your local comic store.
Customers outside the USA should inquire with their local comic and collectible store.
“ I’m very excited to once again be working with Capcom and Street Fighter. These characters are passion of mine since childhood and I’ve wanted to create high end statues of them for a very long time,” said Jerry Macaluso, President of Pop Culture Shock Collectibles.
The Street Fighter deal was brokered by Marc Mostman, president of MOST MANAGEMENT, Capcom’s North American licensing agency.
